TwoPaCo is an implementation of the algorithm described in the paper “TwoPaCo: An efficient algorithm to build the compacted de Bruijn graph from many complete genomes”.

This package contains two programs:

twopaco: tool for direct construction of the compressed graph from multiple complete genomes graphdump: utility that turns output of twopaco into a text format

There are three methods to install twopaco on Debian 12. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install twopaco Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
