How To Install slic3r-prusa on Debian 10

on Debian 10.
What is slic3r-prusa
slic3r-prusa is:
Slic3r converts digital 3D models into printing instructions (G-code) for your 3D printer. It cuts the model into horizontal slices (layers), generates toolpaths to fill them and calculates the amount of material to be extruded.
Slic3r supports input in the STL, AMF and OBJ formats, and can output G-code for several series of 3D printers, including RepRap, Ultimaker, Makerbot, as well as SVG files for DLP printers.
It can be used with a graphical interface, or in batch mode via the command-line.
There are three methods to install slic3r-prusa
on Debian 10. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install slic3r-prusa Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install slic3r-prusa
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install slic3r-prusa

Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install slic3r-prusa
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install slic3r-prusa
Install slic3r-prusa Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install slic3r-prusa
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install slic3r-prusa
How To Uninstall slic3r-prusa on Debian 10
To uninstall only the slic3r-prusa
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove slic3r-prusa
Uninstall slic3r-prusa And Its Dependencies
To uninstall slic3r-prusa
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 10, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove slic3r-prusa
Remove slic3r-prusa Configurations and Data
To remove slic3r-prusa
configuration and data from Debian 10 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge slic3r-prusa
