How To Install r-cran-spatstat on Debian 12

What is r-cran-spatstat
r-cran-spatstat is:
A GNU R package for analysing spatial data, mainly Spatial Point Patterns, including multitype/marked points and spatial covariates, in any two-dimensional spatial region. Contains functions for plotting spatial data, exploratory data analysis, model-fitting, simulation, spatial sampling, model diagnostics, and formal inference. Data types include point patterns, line segment patterns, spatial windows, and pixel images. Point process models can be fitted to point pattern data. Cluster type models are fitted by the method of minimum contrast. Very general Gibbs point process models can be fitted to point pattern data using a function ppm similar to lm or glm. Models may include dependence on covariates, interpoint interaction and dependence on marks. Fitted models can be simulated automatically. Also provides facilities for formal inference (such as chi-squared tests) and model diagnostics (including simulation envelopes, residuals, residual plots and Q-Q plots).
There are three methods to install r-cran-spatstat on Debian 12. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install r-cran-spatstat using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install r-cran-spatstat
How To Uninstall r-cran-spatstat on Debian 12
To uninstall only the r-cran-spatstat package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove r-cran-spatstat
Uninstall r-cran-spatstat And Its Dependencies
To uninstall r-cran-spatstat and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 12, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove r-cran-spatstat
Remove r-cran-spatstat Configurations and Data
To remove r-cran-spatstat configuration and data from Debian 12 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge r-cran-spatstat
