How To Install python-pywbem on Debian 10

python-pywbem is:
PyWBEM is a Python library that implements a Web Based Enterprise Management (WBEM) client. It performs WBEM operations using the CIM-XML and CIM Operations over HTTP protocols as defined by the Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF). WBEM is used to remotely describe and manage distributed computing environments. It is a peer and perhaps successor to the SNMP protocol.
There are three methods to install python-pywbem on Debian 10. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python-pywbem Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python-pywbem using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install python-pywbem
Install python-pywbem Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install python-pywbem using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install python-pywbem
Install python-pywbem Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install python-pywbem using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install python-pywbem
How To Uninstall python-pywbem on Debian 10
To uninstall only the python-pywbem package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python-pywbem
Uninstall python-pywbem And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python-pywbem and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 10, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python-pywbem
Remove python-pywbem Configurations and Data
To remove python-pywbem configuration and data from Debian 10 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python-pywbem
Remove python-pywbem configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
