How To Install nslint on Debian 10
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install nslint
on Debian 10.
What is nslint
nslint is:
Nslint reads the nameserver configuration files and performs a number of consistency checks on the DNS records.
Nslint understands both ancient style named.boot and BIND 8’s named.conf files (which are also used by BIND 9).
There are three methods to install nslint
on Debian 10. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install nslint Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install nslint
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install nslint
