How To Install echolot on Debian 9

In this tutorial we learn how to install echolot on Debian 9.
What is echolot
echolot is:
A Pinger in the context of anonymous remailers is a program that regularly sends messages through remailers to determine their status. Based on the responses, the Pinger calculates reliability statistics which may be used by remailer clients to choose a chain of remailers to use.
Furthermore, Echolot collects configuration parameters and keys of remailers and offers the collected information in a format readable by remailer clients. This helps reduce the administration effort required to use or host remailers.
There are three methods to install echolot on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install echolot Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install echolot using apt-get by running the following command:
