How To Install pong2 on Kali Linux

Pong2 is an up till now two player (networked) game inspired by the classical “Pong” from Amiga, which adds another dimension to the playing field. It makes use of features found on modern 3d graphics cards, so decent hardware is a requirement.

It also has multiplayer support! 2 players can play against each other via network.

There are three methods to install pong2 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install pong2 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install pong2 using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install pong2

Install pong2 Using apt

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

sudo apt update

After updating apt database, We can install pong2 using apt by running the following command:

sudo apt -y install pong2

Install pong2 Using aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install pong2 using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install pong2

How To Uninstall pong2 on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the pong2 package we can use the following command:
