What is staden-io_lib
The Staden I/O library provides a general purpose interface for reading and writing trace files and other bioinformatics experiment files. The programmer simply calls, for example, the read_reading function to create a “Read” C structure with the data loaded into memory. It has been compiled and tested on a variety of Unix systems, MacOS X and MS Windows.
We can use yum or dnf to install staden-io_lib on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install staden-io_lib.
Install staden-io_lib on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install staden-io_lib using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install staden-io_lib
