What is mod_gnutls
mod_gnutls uses the GnuTLS library to provide SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 encryption for Apache HTTPD. It is similar to mod_ssl in purpose, but does not use OpenSSL. A primary benefit of using this module is the ability to configure multiple SSL certificates for a single IP-address/port combination (useful for securing virtual hosts). We can use yum
or dnf
to install mod_gnutls
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install mod_gnutls.
Install mod_gnutls on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install mod_gnutls
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install mod_gnutls
Install mod_gnutls on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install mod_gnutls
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install mod_gnutls
How To Uninstall mod_gnutls on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the mod_gnutls
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove mod_gnutls
