How To Install libpmem2 on Fedora 36
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install libpmem2
on Fedora 36.
What is libpmem2
The libpmem provides low level persistent memory support. In particular, support for the persistent memory instructions for flushing changes to pmem is provided. This package provides the v2 API.
We can use yum
or dnf
to install libpmem2
on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install libpmem2.
Install libpmem2 on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf
using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install libpmem2
using dnf
by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install libpmem2
Install libpmem2 on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum
using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install libpmem2
using yum
by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install libpmem2
How To Uninstall libpmem2 on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the libpmem2
package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove libpmem2
