In this tutorial we learn how to install avra on Fedora 36.
What is avra
Avra is an assembler for Atmel’s AVR 8-bit RISC microcontollers. It is mostly compatible with Atmel’s own assembler, but provides new features such as better macro support and additional preprocessor directives. This package also contains various device definition files.
We can use yum or dnf to install avra on Fedora 36. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install avra.
Install avra on Fedora 36 Using dnf
Update yum database with dnf using the following command.
sudo dnf makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install avra using dnf by running the following command:
sudo dnf -y install avra
Install avra on Fedora 36 Using yum
Update yum database with yum using the following command.
sudo yum makecache --refresh
After updating yum database, We can install avra using yum by running the following command:
sudo yum -y install avra
How To Uninstall avra on Fedora 36
To uninstall only the avra package we can use the following command:
sudo dnf remove avra
