In this tutorial we learn how to install hawtjni on Fedora 34.

What is hawtjni

HawtJNI is a code generator that produces the JNI code needed to implement java native methods. It is based on the jnigen code generator that is part of the SWT Tools project which is used to generate all the JNI code which powers the eclipse platform.

We can use yum or dnf to install hawtjni on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install hawtjni.

Install hawtjni on Fedora 34 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install hawtjni using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install hawtjni

Install hawtjni on Fedora 34 Using yum

How To Uninstall hawtjni on Fedora 34

To uninstall only the hawtjni package we can use the following command:
