Introduction

In this tutorial we learn how to install grepmail on Fedora 34.

What is grepmail

Grepmail searches a normal or compressed mailbox for a given regular expression, and returns those emails that match it. Piped input is allowed, and date and size restrictions are supported, as are searches using logical operators.

We can use yum or dnf to install grepmail on Fedora 34. In this tutorial we discuss both methods but you only need to choose one of method to install grepmail.

Install grepmail on Fedora 34 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install grepmail using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install grepmail
