In this tutorial we learn how to install adplug on Fedora 34.

What is adplug

AdPlug is a free software, cross-platform, hardware independent AdLib sound player library, mainly written in C++. AdPlug plays sound data, originally created for the AdLib (OPL2/3) audio board, directly from its original format on top of an OPL2/3 emulator or by using the real hardware. Install adplug on Fedora 34 Using dnf

Update yum database with dnf using the following command.

sudo dnf makecache --refresh

The output should look something like this:

After updating yum database, We can install adplug using dnf by running the following command:

sudo dnf -y install adplug

Install adplug on Fedora 34 Using yum

Update yum database with yum using the following command.

How To Uninstall adplug on Fedora 34

To uninstall only the adplug package we can use the following command:

sudo dnf remove adplug
