How To Install clamfs on Ubuntu 22.04

What is clamfs
clamfs is:
ClamFS is a FUSE-based user-space file system for Linux with on-access anti-virus file scanning through clamd daemon. Clamd (clamav-daemon) is a file scanning service developed by ClamAV project.
There are three methods to install clamfs
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install clamfs Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install clamfs
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install clamfs

After updating apt database, We can install clamfs

Install clamfs Using aptitude

sudo apt-get -y autoremove clamfs
Remove clamfs Configurations and Data
To remove clamfs
configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge clamfs
Remove clamfs configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove clamfs
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
