What is pyzo

Pyzo is a cross-platform Python IDE focused on interactivity and introspection, which makes it very suitable for scientific computing. Its practical design is aimed at simplicity and efficiency.

It consists of two main components, the editor and the shell, and uses a set of pluggable tools to help the programmer in various ways. Some example tools are source structure, project manager, interactive help, workspace…

Pyzo is written in (pure) Python 3 and uses the Qt GUI toolkit. Binaries are provided for all major operating system. After installing Pyzo, it can be used to execute code on any Python version available on your system (Python 2.4 - 3.x, including Pypy).

This package provides the Pyzo IDE.

There are three methods to install pyzo on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

How To Uninstall pyzo on Ubuntu 22.04

To uninstall only the pyzo package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove pyzo

Uninstall pyzo And Its Dependencies

To uninstall pyzo and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove pyzo

Remove pyzo Configurations and Data

To remove pyzo configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge pyzo

Remove pyzo configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove pyzo configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
