Powerstat measures the power consumption of a mobile PC that has a battery power source. The output is like vmstat but also shows power consumption statistics. At the end of a run, powerstat will calculate the average, standard deviation and min/max of the gathered data.

There are three methods to install powerstat on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install powerstat Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install powerstat using apt-get by running the following command:
