How To Install petname on Ubuntu 22.04

What is petname
petname is:
This utility will generate “pet names”, consisting of a random combination of an adverb, adjective, and an animal name. These are useful for unique hostnames, VMs, or containers, for instance.

Install petname Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install petname using apt-get by running the following command:

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install petname using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install petname
Install petname Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
