GearHead 2 is set five years after the events of GearHead 1. It is currently under development and is initially set in the L5 Orbital Pattern.

This is the console version. For graphics, use gearhead2-sdl instead.

There are three methods to install gearhead2 on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install gearhead2 Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install gearhead2 using apt-get by running the following command:
