What is intltool

intltool is:

Automatically extracts translatable strings from oaf, glade, bonobo ui, nautilus theme and other XML files into the po files.

Automatically merges translations from po files back into .oaf files (encoding to be 7-bit clean). The merging mechanism can also be extended to support other types of XML files.

There are three methods to install intltool on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install intltool Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install intltool using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install intltool

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install intltool using apt by running the following command:
