How To Install fractalnow on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install fractalnow on Kali Linux.
What is fractalnow
fractalnow is:
FractalNow provides users with tools to generate pictures of various types of fractals quickly and easily.
It is made of both a command line (FractalNow) and a graphical tool (QFractalNow).
The graphical tool, based on Qt library, allows users to explore fractals intuitively and generate pictures.
Both tools are entirely multi-threaded and implement advanced algorithms and heuristics that make computation very fast compared to most existing free fractal generators.
There are three methods to install fractalnow on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install fractalnow Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install fractalnow using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install fractalnowInstall fractalnow Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install fractalnow using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install fractalnowInstall fractalnow Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the fractalnow package we can use the following command:

To uninstall fractalnow and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove fractalnowRemove fractalnow Configurations and Data
To remove fractalnow configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge fractalnowRemove fractalnow configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
