What is evince

evince is:

Evince is a simple multi-page document viewer. It can display and print PostScript (PS), Encapsulated PostScript (EPS), DjVu, DVI, Portable Document Format (PDF) and XML Paper Specification (XPS) files. When supported by the document, it also allows searching for text, copying text to the clipboard, hypertext navigation, and table-of-contents bookmarks.

There are three methods to install evince on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install evince Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install evince using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install evince

After updating apt database, We can install evince using apt by running the following command:
