How To Install eog-plugins on Kali Linux
Introduction
In this tutorial we learn how to install eog-plugins on Kali Linux.
What is eog-plugins
eog-plugins is:
eog-plugins contain a set of plugins for eog, the GNOME Image Viewer.
The plugins are now split in separate packages; this metapackage brings all of them but they can be installed separately.
There are three methods to install eog-plugins on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install eog-plugins Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install eog-plugins using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install eog-pluginsInstall eog-plugins Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install eog-plugins using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install eog-plugins using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the eog-plugins package we can use the following command:
