What is ditaa

ditaa is:

DiTAA is a small command-line utility that can convert diagrams drawn using ASCII art (“drawings” that contain characters that resemble lines, like | / and -), into proper bitmap graphics.

DiTAA also uses special markup syntax to increase the possibilities of shapes and symbols that can be rendered.

There are three methods to install ditaa on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install ditaa Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install ditaa using apt-get by running the following command:

sudo apt-get -y install ditaa

Update apt database with apt using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install ditaa using apt by running the following command:

Install ditaa Using aptitude
