What is nunit

nunit is:

NUnit is a unit testing framework for all .NET languages. It serves the same purpose as JUnit does in the Java world. It supports test categories, testing for exceptions and writing test results in plain text or XML.

NUnit targets the CLI (Common Language Infrastructure) and supports Mono and the Microsoft .NET Framework.

This is a dummy package that depends on all nunit packages.

There are three methods to install nunit on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install nunit Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install nunit using apt-get by running the following command:

How To Uninstall nunit on Ubuntu 22.04

To uninstall nunit and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove nunit

Remove nunit Configurations and Data

To remove nunit configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge nunit
