How To Install librabit-dev on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install librabit-dev on Kali Linux.
What is librabit-dev
librabit-dev is:
rabit is a light weight library that provides a fault tolerant interface of Allreduce and Broadcast. It is designed to support easy implementations of distributed machine learning programs, many of which fall naturally under the Allreduce abstraction. The goal of rabit is to support portable , scalable and reliable distributed machine learning programs.
This package contains the development files.
There are three methods to install librabit-dev on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install librabit-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install librabit-dev using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install librabit-devInstall librabit-dev Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt updateAfter updating apt database, We can install librabit-dev using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install librabit-devInstall librabit-dev Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude updateAfter updating apt database, We can install librabit-dev using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install librabit-devHow To Uninstall librabit-dev on Kali Linux
To uninstall only the librabit-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove librabit-devUninstall librabit-dev And Its Dependencies
To uninstall librabit-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove librabit-devRemove librabit-dev Configurations and Data
To remove librabit-dev configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge librabit-devRemove librabit-dev configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove librabit-dev configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
