How To Install libfindlib-ocaml on Kali Linux

What is libfindlib-ocaml

The “findlib” OCaml library provides a scheme to manage reusable software components (packages), and includes tools that support this scheme. Packages are collections of OCaml modules for which metainformation can be stored. The packages are kept in the filesystem hierarchy, but with strict directory structure. The library contains functions to look the directory up that stores a package, to query metainformation about a package, and to retrieve dependency information about multiple packages.
This package contains files that are or may be needed at runtime by programs using findlib (META files and dynamically-loadable files).
There are three methods to install libfindlib-ocaml on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libfindlib-ocaml Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get updateAfter updating apt database, We can install libfindlib-ocaml using apt-get by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

To uninstall only the libfindlib-ocaml package we can use the following command:

To uninstall libfindlib-ocaml and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

To remove libfindlib-ocaml configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libfindlib-ocamlRemove libfindlib-ocaml configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove libfindlib-ocaml configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
