What is bogofilter-bdb
This package implements a fast Bayesian spam filter along the lines suggested by Paul Graham in his article “A Plan For Spam”.
This version substantially improves on Paul’s proposal by doing smarter lexical analysis. In particular, hostnames and IP addresses are retained as recognition features rather than broken up. Various kinds of MTA cruft such as dates and message-IDs are discarded so as not to bloat the word lists.
This package provides the bdb database backend.
There are three ways to install bogofilter-bdb on Kali Linux . We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install bogofilter-bdb Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install bogofilter-bdb using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install bogofilter-bdb

Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install bogofilter-bdb using apt by running the following command:

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
