What is zam-plugins

zam-plugins is:

Plugins for high quality audio processing.

The purpose of these plugins is to provide high quality DSP without using an excessive amount of CPU.

There currently is no official documentation on how to use these plugins, but anyone who is familiar with outboard gear should be able to work it out. The default settings and almost every slider is calibrated to standard ranges.

There are three methods to install zam-plugins on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install zam-plugins Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude on Kali Linux first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Kali Linux. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

sudo aptitude update

After updating apt database, We can install zam-plugins using aptitude by running the following command:

sudo aptitude -y install zam-plugins

How To Uninstall zam-plugins on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the zam-plugins package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove zam-plugins

Uninstall zam-plugins And Its Dependencies

To uninstall zam-plugins and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove zam-plugins

Remove zam-plugins Configurations and Data

To remove zam-plugins configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge zam-plugins

Remove zam-plugins configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

We can use the following command to remove zam-plugins configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge zam-plugins
