What is wtype

wtype is:

wdotool is the Wayland pendant for xdotool. It only works with Wayland compositors that support the virtual keyboard protocol. It lets you programmatically (or manually) simulate keyboard input.

There are three methods to install wtype on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install wtype Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
