What is ure-java

The Uno Runtime Environment (URE) is the well-known UNO component model of LibreOffice, packaged up as an individual product.

You can use it to create any kind of application, in whatever application domain you can imagine.

This package contains the Java support in the URE.

There are three methods to install ure-java on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install ure-java Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

How To Uninstall ure-java on Ubuntu 22.04
