What is stardict-tools

stardict-tools is:

StarDict is a cross-platform and international dictionary written in GTK+ 2.x with GNOME 2 support. It has powerful features such as “Glob-style pattern matching”, “Scan selection word”, “Fuzzy query”, etc.

This package contains the dictionary conversion tools which can convert dictionaries of DICT, wquick, mova and pydict to stardict format

There are three methods to install stardict-tools on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install stardict-tools Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update

After updating apt database, We can install stardict-tools using apt-get by running the following command:
