How To Install s6-doc on Ubuntu 22.04

What is s6-doc
s6-doc is:
s6 is a small suite of programs for UNIX, designed to allow process supervision (a.k.a service supervision), in the line of daemontools and runit, as well as various operations on processes and daemons. It is meant to be a toolbox for low-level process and service administration, providing different sets of independent tools that can be used within or without the framework, and that can be assembled together to achieve powerful functionality with a very small amount of code.

There are three methods to install s6-doc
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install s6-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install s6-doc
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install s6-doc
Install s6-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install s6-doc
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install s6-doc
Install s6-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install s6-doc
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install s6-doc
How To Uninstall s6-doc on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the s6-doc
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove s6-doc
Uninstall s6-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall s6-doc
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove s6-doc
Remove s6-doc Configurations and Data
To remove s6-doc
configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge s6-doc
Remove s6-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies

configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
