How To Install ruby-heroku-deflater on Ubuntu 22.04

What is ruby-heroku-deflater
ruby-heroku-deflater is:
A simple rack middleware, enabling compression of your assets and application in responses on Heroku. It saves CPU cycles on pointless compression of images and binary responses.
It also includes code from https://github.com/mattolson/heroku_rails_deflate.
Before serving a file from disk to a gzip-enabled client, it will look for a precompressed file in the same location that ends in “.gz”. The purpose is to avoid compressing the same file each time it is requested.
There are three methods to install ruby-heroku-deflater on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install ruby-heroku-deflater using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ruby-heroku-deflater
How To Uninstall ruby-heroku-deflater on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the ruby-heroku-deflater package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ruby-heroku-deflater

To uninstall ruby-heroku-deflater and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
