How To Install ruby-adsf-live on Ubuntu 22.04

What is ruby-adsf-live
ruby-adsf-live is:
adsf (A Dead Simple Fileserver) is a tiny web server that can be spawned in any directory to serve static files. It can be used programmatically in Rack and other Ruby applications.
This package provide the adsf –live-reload support.
For example, the nanoc static website generator uses it its “live” command.
There are three methods to install ruby-adsf-live
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get

Install ruby-adsf-live Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install ruby-adsf-live
using apt-get

sudo apt-get -y install ruby-adsf-live
Install ruby-adsf-live Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install ruby-adsf-live
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install ruby-adsf-live
Install ruby-adsf-live Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install ruby-adsf-live
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install ruby-adsf-live
How To Uninstall ruby-adsf-live on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the ruby-adsf-live
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove ruby-adsf-live
Uninstall ruby-adsf-live And Its Dependencies
To uninstall ruby-adsf-live
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove ruby-adsf-live
Remove ruby-adsf-live Configurations and Data
To remove ruby-adsf-live
configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge ruby-adsf-live
Remove ruby-adsf-live configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove ruby-adsf-live
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge ruby-adsf-live
