How To Install rrdcollect on Debian 11

on Debian 11.
What is rrdcollect
rrdcollect is:
RRDcollect is a daemon which polls certain files in /proc/ directory, gathering data and storing it inside RRDtool’s database files. Being written in C it should be both fast and resources-friendly. It supports both scanf(3)-style pattern matches and perl compatible regular expressions.
This package does not create rrd files. You need to create those files manually using rrdtool package.
There are three methods to install rrdcollect
on Debian 11. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install rrdcollect Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install rrdcollect
