How To Install remotetrx on Debian 9

In this tutorial we learn how to install remotetrx on Debian 9.
What is remotetrx
remotetrx is:
RemoteTrx facilitates remote control of ham radio transceivers via the EchoLink? protocol.
EchoLink? allows licensed amateur radio operators to communicate over the Internet, including remote access to station equipment. The RemoteTrx server provides remote control of a connected radio transceiver.
RemoteTrx is normally used together with the ‘svxlink-server’ package, which allows for world-wide access via the Internet.
This package contains the RemoteTrx remote control server.

There are three methods to install remotetrx on Debian 9. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install remotetrx Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install remotetrx using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install remotetrx
