The rgpio library is a fully featured library for controlling the GPIO pins of a computer via the rpgiod daemon. It includes facilities for software PWM, callbacks on level change, I2C, SPI, and UART wrappers. The daemon also provides file handling, script and network facilities.

This package contains the Python 3 bindings for librgpio.

There are three methods to install python3-rgpio on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
