How To Install python3-gvm on Ubuntu 22.04

python3-gvm is:
This module gvm contains the Greenbone Vulnerability Management Python API library. It’s a collection of APIs that help with remote controlling a Greenbone Security Manager (GSM) appliance and its underlying Greenbone Vulnerability Manager (GVM). The library essentially abstracts accessing the communication protocols Greenbone Management Protocol (GMP) and Open Scanner Protocol (OSP).
This package installs the library for Python 3.
There are three methods to install python3-gvm
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

Install python3-gvm Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-gvm

After updating apt database, We can install python3-gvm

Install python3-gvm Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install python3-gvm
using aptitude

How To Uninstall python3-gvm on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the python3-gvm
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove python3-gvm
Uninstall python3-gvm And Its Dependencies
To uninstall python3-gvm
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove python3-gvm
Remove python3-gvm Configurations and Data
To remove python3-gvm
configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge python3-gvm
Remove python3-gvm configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
