What is python3-gear
python3-gear is:
python-gear is a pure-Python asynchronous library to interface with Gearman.
It provides interfaces to build a client or worker, and access to the administrative protocol. The design approach is to keep it simple, with a relatively thin abstration of the Gearman protocol itself. It should be easy to use to build a client or worker that operates either synchronously or asynchronously.
The module also provides a simple Gearman server for use as a convenience in unit tests. The server is not designed for production use under load.
Installing the suggested python-statsd package would add support for reporting to statsd a frontend to Graphite a stats collection and graphing server.
This package contains the Python 3.x module.
There are three methods to install python3-gear on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install python3-gear Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install python3-gear using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install python3-gear

To uninstall only the python3-gear package we can use the following command:

To uninstall python3-gear and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:

To remove python3-gear configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
