What is orthanc-doc
orthanc-doc is:
Orthanc aims at providing a simple, yet powerful DICOM server for medical imaging. Orthanc can turn any computer running Windows or Linux into a Vendor Neutral Archive (in other words, a mini-PACS system). Its architecture is lightweight, meaning that no complex database administration is required, nor the installation of third-party dependencies.
This package includes the documentation and the sample codes available for Orthanc. It also includes the documentation to develop C/C++ plugins for Orthanc.
There are three methods to install orthanc-doc
on Debian 11. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install orthanc-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install orthanc-doc
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install orthanc-doc
Install orthanc-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install orthanc-doc
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install orthanc-doc
Install orthanc-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install orthanc-doc
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install orthanc-doc
How To Uninstall orthanc-doc on Debian 11
To uninstall only the orthanc-doc
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove orthanc-doc
Uninstall orthanc-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall orthanc-doc
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 11, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove orthanc-doc
Remove orthanc-doc Configurations and Data
To remove orthanc-doc
configuration and data from Debian 11 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge orthanc-doc
Remove orthanc-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove orthanc-doc
