What is node-geographiclib

node-geographiclib is:

GeographicLib is a small set of C++ classes for converting between geographic, UTM, UPS, MGRS, geocentric, and local cartesian coordinates, for geoid calculations, and for computing geodesic. It is a suitable replacement for the core functionality provided by NGA Geotrans.

This package contains the GeographicLib Node.js module.

There are three methods to install node-geographiclib on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

Install node-geographiclib Using apt-get

Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

sudo apt-get update
