How To Install mono-jay on Debian 9

on Debian 9.
What is mono-jay
mono-jay is:
Mono is a platform for running and developing applications based on the ECMA/ISO Standards. Mono is an open source effort led by Xamarin. Mono provides a complete CLR (Common Language Runtime) including compiler and runtime, which can produce and execute CIL (Common Intermediate Language) bytecode (aka assemblies), and a class library.
Jay is a Yacc implementation oriented to Java-like input syntax. It takes a grammar, specified in BNF and augmented with semantic actions, and generates tables and an interpreter which recognizes the language defined by the grammar and executes the semantic actions as their corresponding phrases are recognized.
There are three methods to install mono-jay
on Debian 9. We can use apt-get

and aptitude

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Debian. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install mono-jay
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install mono-jay
How To Uninstall mono-jay on Debian 9
To uninstall only the mono-jay
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove mono-jay
Uninstall mono-jay And Its Dependencies
To uninstall mono-jay
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove mono-jay
Remove mono-jay Configurations and Data
To remove mono-jay
configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge mono-jay
Remove mono-jay configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove mono-jay
