How To Install libtrove-java on Ubuntu 22.04

What is libtrove-java
libtrove-java is:
GNU Trove is a fast, lightweight implementations of the java.util Collections API. These implementations are designed to be pluggable replacements for their JDK equivalents.
Whenever possible, GNU Trove provide the same collections support for primitive types. This gap in the JDK is often addressed by using the “wrapper” classes (java.lang.Integer, java.lang.Float, etc.) with Object-based collections. For most applications, however, collections which store primitives directly will require less space and yield significant performance gains.
There are three methods to install libtrove-java on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libtrove-java Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update

Install libtrove-java Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libtrove-java using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libtrove-java
How To Uninstall libtrove-java on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the libtrove-java package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libtrove-java

To uninstall libtrove-java and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libtrove-java
Remove libtrove-java Configurations and Data
To remove libtrove-java configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libtrove-java
