How To Install libssu-tools on Ubuntu 22.04

libssu-tools is:
The de facto repository for high-performance phylogenetic diversity calculations. The methods in this repository are based on an implementation of the Strided State UniFrac algorithm which is faster, and uses less memory than Fast UniFrac. Strided State UniFrac supports Unweighted UniFrac, Weighted UniFrac, Generalized UniFrac, Variance Adjusted UniFrac and meta UniFrac. This repository also includes Stacked Faith (manuscript in preparation), a method for calculating Faith’s PD that is faster and uses less memory than the Fast UniFrac-based reference implementation.

There are three methods to install libssu-tools on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libssu-tools Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libssu-tools using apt-get by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libssu-tools
Install libssu-tools Using apt
Update apt database with apt using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libssu-tools using apt by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install libssu-tools

If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libssu-tools using aptitude by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install libssu-tools
How To Uninstall libssu-tools on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the libssu-tools package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libssu-tools

To uninstall libssu-tools and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libssu-tools

To remove libssu-tools configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
