How To Install librtr-doc on Ubuntu 22.04

on Ubuntu 22.04.
What is librtr-doc
librtr-doc is:
RTRlib is an open-source C implementation of the RPKI/Router Protocol client. The library allows one to fetch and store validated prefix origin data from a RTR-cache and performs origin verification of prefixes. It supports different types of transport sessions (e.g., SSH, unprotected TCP) and is easily extendable.
This package contains the doxygen generated HTML documentation for the libraries.
There are three methods to install librtr-doc
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install librtr-doc Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install librtr-doc
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install librtr-doc
Install librtr-doc Using apt
Update apt database with apt
using the following command.
sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install librtr-doc
using apt
by running the following command:
sudo apt -y install librtr-doc
Install librtr-doc Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude
using the following command.
sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install librtr-doc
using aptitude
by running the following command:
sudo aptitude -y install librtr-doc
How To Uninstall librtr-doc on Ubuntu 22.04
To uninstall only the librtr-doc
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove librtr-doc
Uninstall librtr-doc And Its Dependencies
To uninstall librtr-doc
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Ubuntu 22.04, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove librtr-doc
Remove librtr-doc Configurations and Data
To remove librtr-doc
configuration and data from Ubuntu 22.04 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge librtr-doc
Remove librtr-doc configuration, data, and all of its dependencies
We can use the following command to remove librtr-doc
configurations, data and all of its dependencies, we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove --purge librtr-doc
