How To Install libnfs8 on Debian 9

What is libnfs8
libnfs8 is:
LIBNFS is a client library for accessing NFS shares over a network.
LIBNFS offers three different APIs, for different use : 1, RAW : A fully async low level rpc library for nfs protocols 2, NFS ASYNC : A fully asynchronous library for high level vfs functions 3, NFS SYNC : A synchronous library for high level vfs functions
This package provides the shared library.
There are three methods to install libnfs8
on Debian 9. We can use apt-get
, apt
and aptitude
. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libnfs8 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libnfs8
using apt-get
by running the following command:
sudo apt-get -y install libnfs8

After updating apt database, We can install libnfs8

After updating apt database, We can install libnfs8

How To Uninstall libnfs8 on Debian 9
To uninstall only the libnfs8
package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libnfs8
Uninstall libnfs8 And Its Dependencies
To uninstall libnfs8
and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 9, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libnfs8
Remove libnfs8 Configurations and Data

configuration and data from Debian 9 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libnfs8
