How To Install libnfc-dev on Debian 11

What is libnfc-dev
libnfc-dev is:
libnfc is a library for Near Field Communication. It abstracts the low-level details of communicating with the devices away behind an easy-to-use high-level API. It supports most hardware based on the NXP PN531, PN532 or PN533 controller chips.
This package contains the header and development files needed to build programs and packages using libnfc.
There are three methods to install libnfc-dev on Debian 11. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.
Install libnfc-dev Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get using the following command.

After updating apt database, We can install libnfc-dev using aptitude by running the following command:

To uninstall only the libnfc-dev package we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get remove libnfc-dev

To uninstall libnfc-dev and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Debian 11, we can use the command below:
sudo apt-get -y autoremove libnfc-dev
Remove libnfc-dev Configurations and Data
To remove libnfc-dev configuration and data from Debian 11 we can use the following command:
sudo apt-get -y purge libnfc-dev
