How To Install libmongoose2 on Kali Linux

In this tutorial we learn how to install libmongoose2 on Kali Linux.

What is libmongoose2

libmongoose2 is:

Suitesparse is a collection of libraries for computations involving sparse matrices.

Mongoose is a graph partitioning library that can quickly compute edge cuts in arbitrary graph. Given a graph with a vertex set and edge set, an edge cut is a partitioning of the graph into two subgraphs that are balanced (contain the same number of vertices) and the connectivity between the subgraphs is minimized (few edges are in the cut).

This package contains the shared C++ library.

There are three methods to install libmongoose2 on Kali Linux. We can use apt-get, apt and aptitude. In the following sections we will describe each method. You can choose one of them.

How To Uninstall libmongoose2 on Kali Linux

To uninstall only the libmongoose2 package we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get remove libmongoose2

To uninstall libmongoose2 and its dependencies that are no longer needed by Kali Linux, we can use the command below:

sudo apt-get -y autoremove libmongoose2

To remove libmongoose2 configuration and data from Kali Linux we can use the following command:

sudo apt-get -y purge libmongoose2
