How To Install libknot12 on Ubuntu 22.04

What is libknot12
libknot12 is:
Knot DNS is a fast, authoritative only, high performance, feature full and open source name server.
Knot DNS is developed by CZ.NIC Labs, the R&D department of .CZ registry and hence is well suited to run anything from the root zone, the top-level domain, to many smaller standard domain names.
This package provides libknot shared library used by Knot DNS and Knot Resolver.
There are three methods to install libknot12
on Ubuntu 22.04. We can use apt-get

Install libknot12 Using apt-get
Update apt database with apt-get
using the following command.
sudo apt-get update
After updating apt database, We can install libknot12
using apt-get

sudo apt update
After updating apt database, We can install libknot12
using apt
by running the following command:

Install libknot12 Using aptitude
If you want to follow this method, you might need to install aptitude first since aptitude is usually not installed by default on Ubuntu. Update apt database with aptitude

sudo aptitude update
After updating apt database, We can install libknot12

sudo apt-get -y purge libknot12
